Had a wonderful relaxing stay. Friendly, welcoming hosts & extremely knowledgeable about the area. The Garden Room is tastefully decorated & was spotlessly clean, as is the whole property. We appreciated this creative home, with lovely art & a beautiful garden, providing a quiet oasis. Easy to escape the crowds, whilst being within walking distance to lovely restaurants in an evening. Ideal spot to start lots of great walks, inc. the Coastal Path. Lovely choice at breakfast too (not the usual fry ups, which we enjoyed as vegetarians). Lulworth House is one of the best B&Bs we have stayed at: the Garden Suite stylish, comfortable and spacious with an idyllic little patio bathed in afternoon sunshine – an extra bonus last weekend. John and Carole made us very welcome and provided excellent information about the area. Bill, London
We arrived from Paris to Lulworth Cove, to be met by our host in his veg patch. Beautiful accommodation, spacious room (we chose the garden room) lovely warm shower with plenty of pressure and stylishly decorated. The bed was very comfortable and we appreciated having a desk to work on. The sofa was delightfully comfortable. John and Carol were wonderful hosts, and we enjoyed our breakfasts, as well as the wonderful advice they gave us of where to go walking and places of interest for us to visit. We had a most memorable visit and much was due to the professionalism of John and Carole. Chris, Paris
Lovely B&B and quiet retreat
We had a wonderful relaxing stay at Lulworth House B&B. John and Carole are friendly, welcoming hosts and extremely knowledgeable about the area. We stayed in the Garden Room which is tastefully decorated and was spotlessly clean, as is the whole property. We appreciated this creative home, with lovely art around the home and the beautiful garden filled with tropical plants, providing a quiet oasis from the hustle and bustle of Lulworth at the end of a day. It was easy to escape the crowds, whilst being within walking distance to lovely restaurants in an evening. Ideal spot to start lots of great walks, including the Coastal Path. Lovely choice at breakfast too (not the usual fry ups, which we enjoyed as vegetarians). Lots of extra touches too, something for everyone. Thanks John & Carole, we had such a lovely stay.
Lulworth House B&B is my Shangri La
This is our second time staying at John and Carol’s Lulworth House B&B. I hesitated to write a review only because I want to keep this little gem of a place a secret for fear of not being able to get a room for my next visit!
The room and facilities are fantastic and the food delicious. The view from the bedroom window is beautiful; you feel as though you are in a tropical paradise with all the colourful plants.
If you need tourist information during your stay, John is a fountain of knowledge having grown up around here, and he is more than happy to advise and suggest places of interest and where to eat.
I don’t want this holiday to end!

We loved our stay with John and Carole! Lovely rooms, delicious breakfasts, and a very warm welcome await you. Carole’s beautiful artwork is the feature throughout the house, with fresh white walls and lovely furnishings to complete the picture. Lulworth Cove is a short walk away, as is the delectable Limestone restaurant. We enjoyed the Garden Suite room which opens onto John’s wonderful garden patio and a most relaxing place to sit and relax. We look forward to returning soon!
